This is a Williamsburg, Virginia Metalcrafters Queen Anne Cipher solid brass trivet dated 195O. Antique. Good used condition.

 

This brass trivet is cast in the monogram of Queen Anne, with the initials "AR" (Latin "Anna Regina"), who reigned in England from 1702 until her death in 1714. On May 1, 1707, under the Act of Union, two of her realms, the kingdoms of England and Scotland, were united as a single sovereign state, the Kingdom of Great Britain. Place this beautiful trivet on your countertop or dining table to protect virtually any surface from hot pots and pans. Pretty enough to be a decorative addition to the kitchen or dining room when not in use. 5.75" long x 6" wide.
