Antique Hammered Copper Pitcher

Imagine this antique hammered copper pitcher reflecting the candlelight as Charles Dickens worked deep into the night, crafting the villainous characters of Seth Pecksniff and Jonas Chuzzlewit. While neither English nor 19th century, this nice antique copper pitcher could have easily--except for the most discerning eye-- escaped any cries of "anachronism!" had it appeared in the 1994 BBC television production Martin Chuzzlewit.
